She enjoys lying on her back with her feet flailing in the air. Her favorite thing to retrieve is a snowball, although she can't always seem to bring it back. In the summer her mission is to consume every raspberry on the property. She is an excellent berry eater. She enjoys her daily walks to the barn to feed the horses and look for wildlife. No other dog has been able to replace her in Rhtyhm's heart.Farewell Dear RhythmIn January of 2008 Rhythm became very ill and was diagnosed by an MRI with a brain tumor and given 3-4 months. With the seizures under control, she spent the next 20 months enjoying walks to the barn, daily stops at "her" raspberry patch, chasing snowballs and relaxing in the sun. Every day was a gift, she was a miracle. On August 22, 2009, after a walk to the barn and back, and a cucumber snack, the seizures began again. The tumor had grown. We knew it was time to say good-bye. A gift to her which we knew would bring terrible pain to us. A sign will be made to mark "Rhythm's berry patch" in her honor, after all, she was the best berry eater ever.We miss you so much dear sweet Rhtyhm, your soul lives on.
